We had a behavioral issue with our dog (Westie), who would bark excessively at any visitors in the house, and we struggled to control her. We decided to seek advice from Nigel, whose dog training approach seemed very interesting. Nigel provided training for our dog and explained in detail how to handle situations like this, helping her to return the responsibility for security back to us. His approach proved to be highly effective - not only did her behavior with visitors improve significantly, but issues such as fussiness with food, pulling on the lead, and constantly seeking attention also greatly diminished. We are extremely pleased with Nigel’s training and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog in a thoughtful and effective way.

Nigel has been an incredible help with my two-year-old Golden Retriever. After just one week, I noticed real progress in my dog’s behaviour — less pulling, reduced aggression, and more confidence around other dogs. During our four-hour session, Nigel clearly explained his training methods and shared valuable tips to help me better understand and manage my dog both at home and outdoors. To reinforce everything we covered, he also provided several useful resources, including a copy of his book, detailed notes, flow charts, and videos. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

We can’t recommend Nigel highly enough. Buddy, our 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, used to be a little anxious and had tendencies to react when on lead (jumping and barking), along with some other small things we wanted to work on with him. After working with Nigel, the change has been amazing. Nigel had a very calm and patient approach with both Buddy and us. He took the time to give us clear and practical advice, especially when it came to helping us understand how to grow Buddy’s confidence at home and outside. It’s been a really rewarding experience seeing Buddy progress within a month of us following Nigel’s advice. We immediately saw positive changes in Buddy’s behaviour and can see he is much calmer, more confident and better-behaved in general. Nigel truly has a gift with dogs (and owners!).
