Happy Hounds & Cooler Cats

We’ve been with Happy Hounds for nearly four years and honestly couldn’t have managed London life with a dog without them! Their service has been an absolute lifesaver — reliable, easy to book, and with brilliant communication and photos each time. Our spaniel has loved every single walk, adventure, and friendly face along the way (he still waits by the door on their days off, just in case!). What really stood out was how much we could completely trust them. From going above and beyond to look after Ralph as a gift on our wedding day, to supporting last-minute when plans suddenly change — they made it possible for us to keep our spaniel while juggling full-time jobs and busy lives. The team are warm, caring, and professional, and it’s clear they truly love the dogs in their care. We’re only sad to be moving away and wish we could take them with us! A huge thank you from us (and Ralph 🐾) — we couldn’t recommend Happy Hounds more highly.

Not sure why, but was not welcome here. Could not book house sitting or pet stay - as the staff don't have their calendars updated that far in advance... strange. More of a ploy to stop me booking with them. Walkers changed all the time. Walker did not know that puppies lose their teeth. Another walker always petting/slapped my boy directly on top of his head... who does that to a dog? One occasion, pup was able to eat a whole pack of butter. My boy was not allowed to socialise with their other dogs. Not sure why all these things happened. I have a young GSD.. a boisterous, playful pup - who is very well socialised with other dogs, all he wants to do is play... he now plays at Hollow Ponds every day with numerous other dogs, of all shapes, breeds and sizes and is a perfect gentleman. They said I was welcome to find someone else to look after my boy... so I did. Cheaper and much more experienced with big dogs. They couldn't wait for us to leave. Not welcomed at all.

Happy Hounds has been nothing short of amazing. They're such a great, professional and genuinely caring company. On a few occasions we've been really stuck for someone to look after our pup and they always go out of their way to try and help us out. Our pup absolutely loves his two-weekly walks with Maison, it's nice knowing he's with someone who adores him as much as we do and takes care of him like he were her own. The group walks have also been excellent for socialising him, turning him from a sometimes reactive dog to a dog that gets on with everyone. I can't rate them highly enough.
