Sam Neezer Dog Training & Behaviour

We worked with Sam for our Mini Dachshund, Luna, after she became more reactive, particularly with bigger dogs. She was also pulling a lot on the lead, coupled with her unpredictable barking, this made walks very stressful. Sam’s training style really focuses on positive engagement, therefore creating a stronger bond with your dog. Sam was extremely patient, supportive and took the time to explain to us why Luna was reacting the way she was and offered us a lot of guidance during and in between sessions. After these sessions with Sam, I can’t believe how much Luna’s behaviour has changed. She is much calmer, way more engaged with us, and we feel much more confident handling situations that used to be challenging as Sam gave us the practical tools to do so. We would 100% recommend Sam for anyone looking for a dog trainer and if we ever need guidance again, Sam will be the person we will go to. Thanks so much Sam!

We did lots of research into what we needed to support our terrier who was showing unpredictable reactive behaviour towards one dog and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Sam. He is incredibly patient and talented (he really does speak the same language as dogs!). He took time to train ‘us’ as well as our pup… so that we could continue his progress and understand what the underlying issue was. Excellent trainer! Sam explains what the dog is thinking, and why, and therefore how we can get the best, and lasting, results. He is very patient and kind, with both me and my dog. My dog loves to be with Sam, and Sam has helped her become so much more responsive and easier to walk. We're going to keep working with him!
